Real Living Options is a community based Incorporated Association governed by a Management Committee which meets monthly . The members of the Management Committee are volunteers who bring a range of experience and skills to the organisation.
The Management Committee consists of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and a number of Committee Members who are elected from the membership at the Annual General Meeting. The Philosophy of the Service is that at least 50 % of the Management Committee are family members/advocates of people who use the Service, to ensure that the people who use the Service have a voice in the management of the Service.
The role of the Management Committee is to oversee the sound management and strategic directions of the Association, maintain accreditation under the National Quality and Safeguarding Framework, ensure suitably qualified staff are employed and a quality service provision in line with the Service Principles is provided .
